You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure she has already introduced herself to Grandma and Grandpa and is learning all about Steve's Indy adventures! Love you all! Melody

I am sorry for your loss and am unable to attend on Thursday but wanted to express my condolences. Mrs. Shepherd was my first clinical instructor in the demo lab at Scott in 1987. She was a stickler for sure but she cared about her students and wanted us to do a good job and not mess around. She wanted us to be great nurses. If you didn't cut it, she let you know! I think we were all intimidated a bit but I really learned to respect her. I am a great nurse today because of her. Many years ago I had the pleasure of taking care of her as a patient and I was able to tell her how much she impacted my nursing career. What a full-circle moment for me! Rest in peace, Mrs. Shepherd, and know that you definitely made a difference.
