Janet Anderson was a kind, generous and passionate woman who took in life with gusto. She was generous with her family, her friends and the charities that needed her help. She volunteered to help whenever she could, babysitting for a church family in need or driving a practical stranger to cancer treatment appointments. She was passionate about her church, gardening, music, sports and birds with a prodigious memory for latin names. Janet often over-scheduled herself because she didn’t want to miss a church function, an opera, or a school play. And she was a woman who loved her family, here friends and her cats Because her beloved children lived across the county, in the last years of her life Janet created a second family of David, Craig and Connie, often celebrating birthdays and special occasions together or just sharing ice cream sundaes and special recipes. And she adopted another daughter with Dale. Janet was an avid listener who could repeat almost verbatim what she was told. She tended to see only the good in people and to focus on what she was given rather than the opposite We will all miss this loving, energetic woman.
