Melba J. Wiley, 95, a resident of Montgomery, died Saturday, December 2, 2017. Her visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 12 Noon at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by her funeral service at 1:00 PM, with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Born May 12, 1922 in Decatur, Alabama, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel P. Wiley, Jr. She is survived by her son, Michael D. Wiley, Sr. (Betty); her daughter, Pam Taylor; three grandsons, Michael D. Wiley, Jr. (Sarah), Matthew P. Wiley (Jodi), and Forrest Taylor (Victoria); five great-grandchildren, Ryman Wiley, and Julia, Rori, Michael, and Nathan Taylor. She was a member of Dalraida Church of Christ for over 60 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape of Central Alabama- PO Box 230472- Montgomery, Al 36106. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Angels for the Elderly. Ms. Melba was truly the perfect example of the Proverbs women and she will be greatly missed. May God comfort and bless you during this sad time.

She was one of my favorite ladies at Dalraida. She was the last of the Wiley/Ellison/Slaughter gang. Loved both Nat and Melba. Thinking of you Pam at this time
