JENKINS, Melanie, 2, of Riverview, FL, passed away December 2, 2017. Melanie loved pizza, singing, dancing and playing with bubbles. She loved to pretend and make cookies in her play kitchen. She hated bedtime but loved saying her prayers and giving mommy a kiss on each side of her face before she left the room. She loved bath time but hated swimming pools and bounce houses. She loved her brother , constantly looking out for him. She was a great big sister and will be missed every second of every day. She is survived by her parents Krista Ashley and Milton Antonio Jenkins, Jr., and brother Milton III. and several other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 12.00 p.m., both at Love 1st Christian Church, 12847 Balm Riverview Rd, Riverview, FL.

Melanie was such a light and joy to be around. I am so grateful that she was Noelle's birthday buddy, and will always cherish the time they spent together. (I still have that video of them squawking at each other and will keep it forever.)
Our hearts break for you, Tony and Krista, and hope that the thought of seeing her again in glory brings you comfort. We love you
