Mable Holland McBride Freeman passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the age of 89.
She was born in Saltillo, TN on February 12, 1928 to Clifford and Willie Vea Holland who preceed her in death.
Mrs. Freeman was also preceded in death by her first husband, Roy McBride and her second husband, Wesley Freeman.
She moved to Jackson in 1950 and was the owner of Casual Beauty Salon for over 20 years.
Mrs. Freeman was an active member of West Jackson Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and loved making costumes for the church's children's plays.
Mable was the biggest "River Rat" on the Tennessee River which she loved so much. She water skied well into her mid-sixties and also enjoyed traveling all over the country in their RV.
Mrs. Freeman leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Carol McBride Key (Jerry) and Ann McBride McDaniel (Bill) of Jackson. She also leaves four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; a brother, W.S. Holland (Joyce) and many many friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Mrs. Freeman to be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Madison County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

So sorry to hear about your Mom, she was just one of the many sweet Mothers that abounded in our neighborhood as we all grew up. Although I know you will miss her dearly, you can rest assured that she touched many lives in a positive way, and is now reaping the heavenly rewards for her life. You and your families are in our prayers.
