Sympathy,Condolences to family, friends and soldiers he served with! He was a mentor, guider, leader, role model to us younger soldiers in the 483rd Engr! Always made sure we kept track of our Army Gear because he wasn't replacing what we lost without a cost! SSG Richard "Dick" Cabral made bivouacking out in the woods like we were at a cookout outing and luxurious resort , bringing a grill out to barbecue on at times A true, loyal comrade in arms,SSG Cabral shared his experience and knowledge willfully! His compassion, kindness ,thoughtfullness inspired others on the civilian side as well! Always acknowledged me as our paths crossed saying hey Mac and jokingly ,teasing me about something! Great Guy! Mike,
So sorry to hear of your dad's passing.
He was a very caring person with a great sense of humor. He helped me a lot when I first started at Dattco. Showed me the ropes when he didnt have to. That's the kind of man he was.
