Born to loving parents, Lavern "Bunny" and Sylvia "Babe" Moulton of Enid, Oklahoma on September 4th, 1944.
Growing up in Enid, Oklahoma, Joycelyn was always one to bring a smile to those around her, with her red hair and mischievous personality. She attended high school and graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in Meno, Oklahoma, where she enjoyed great times with friends.
Joycelyn enjoyed a great career, she worked for Surveyor during the original contract at Vance Air Force Base. She later worked for SpeedStar in Enid during the early days of the oil boom then owned her own clothing store JV's First Addition. She relocated to Oklahoma City where she helped others as a drug and alcohol counselor. She then went on to open her own business "Nanny and the Newborns", providing services for the young and old. She later joined the family at Champion Hotels & Development where she excelled, and in return was well cared for by those around her. Joycelyn loved working at Champion Hotels and had a way of doing a great job, all while providing a laugh, a shoulder to lean on, and wisdom that only a good mother can provide.
During her journey of life Joycelyn married Lanny Polwort and on June 27th, 1966 she had a daughter, Misty Michelle Polwort, then was married to Larry Lunday and on October 26th, 1971 had a son, Timothy Mark Lunday.
Joycelyn was a beautiful, loving, and strong willed woman. She spent the last 18 years with an equally loving and caring partner, Larry "Nick" Nichols. Together they enjoyed traveling, attending OKC Thunder basketball games as season ticket holders, OU sporting events, and spending lunch with friends on a near daily basis. Joycelyn appreciated great conversation, being with friends, family, and her work.
