William Austin Coleman, 84, of Madison Heights passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, at the Guggenheimer Nursing Home. Born December 31, 1932, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late William Austin Coleman, Sr. and the late Pearl Reynolds Coleman.
William was a retired machinist for Limitorque/Flowserve, and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by one sister, Faye C. Casey; and one brother-in-law, Kenneth W. Witt.
William is survived by his two sisters, Barbara C. Witt of Madison Heights and Helen C. Reynolds and her husband Cliff of Monroe; one brother-in-law, Fred L. Casey of Campbell County; four nieces; and other loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Tyree officiating.
There will be no visitation hours at the funeral home, but the family will receive friends at the residence of Barbara Witt.
