Niles Hipp, 81, passed away, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Waco, Texas.
Funeral Service: Tuesday December 12, at 3pm with visitation one hour prior at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd.
Mr. Hipp was born January 5, 1936 to Clayborn and Nettie May Hipp in Lyford, Texas. He grew up in Hope, Arkansas and later attended Arkansas State Teachers College before serving in the Navy. He retired in 2006 from Bell Helicopter. For the past two years, he had been under care for Alzheimer's. He had been a member of First Baptist Hurst for more than 50 years. Niles was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue in 2012.
Survivors: Daughters, Cynthia Perthuis, Kim Schwarz and Husband, Duane; grandchildren, Ryan Patterson, Caroline Perthuis, Rebecca McFarland (Danny), Nathan Schwarz (Katie) and five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

My deepest sympathies for Niles family. I worked with Niles for many years at Bell Helicopter. He had a personality larger than life and was very good at his job.

My sympathies for Niles family. I worked with him for his entire time with Bell Helicopter. He loved to talk about his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. He had a personality larger than life and was very good at his job.

Heaven is brighter since Niles crossed over to his eternal home. He was a great person and one of my best friends from high school days. To his daughters, you can be proud to have called him Dad.
