Jean Allen Cain, 95, Kansas City North, MO, met her Lord and Savior on Dec 7, 2017. She was born in Kansas City, MO on Oct 4, 1922 to the late Oscar and Ethyl Allen.
Jean became a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church at the age of 8 and was a lifelong member. She met Mack, the love of her life, at church when she was 14. They were married in 1941 and were together until his death in 1988.
After she raised her children she worked at Natkin Service Company. Later in life she worked at Liberty Midcontinent Library until she was 80. Jean was honored by the Clay County Clothes Closet for 40 years of volunteer service. She was a member of the Northland Chapter of Sweet Adelines.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mack, 2 cherished children, Sherry Kline Smith and Mack, Jr; brothers Oscar Jr, Donald and Clifton Allen and sisters Bonnie Moburg and Rosemary Seneker. She is survived and loved by her daughters Candy Cain Kerr (Mick) and Marsha Cain, granddaughters Debbie Reeder (Mike), Cindy Golliday (Tim), Jennifer Nelson (John), Kelly Lewis (Tim), Shannon O'Bryan (Pat), 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Service 11:00am Tue Dec 12, 2017 Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, MO. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens Gladstone, MO. Services under the direction of White Chapel Funeral Home.
