George Joseph Guillotte passed away December 8th 2017 at the age of 85. Born October 17th 1932 to George and Lucille Guillotte in New Orleans, Louisiana, George spent most of his life in Marrero before moving to Tickfaw in 2009. George admirably served in the US Army, and was a dedicated foreman for Avondale Shipyard for 47 years. Survived by his loving daughter Monique G. Touchard (Bruno L. Touchard Jr.), grandson Bryce L. Touchard, Sisters; Ione Guillotte Marks and June Guillotte Leche, and Brother Charles "Dude" Guillotte. George was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years Patricia Wingfeild Guillotte, mother Lucille C. Nicholas Guillotte, father George Louis Guillotte, and his sister Yvonne Guillotte Miller. Many friends are left to cherish George's memory, and are encouraged to attend services on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home located on 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 8:00am for family, and 9:00am for the public. Mass to follow at 1:00pm, a graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
