I am so sorry to hear of Bills passing. He was a dear friend whom I have not seen in a long time. I remember his sister Mary as well. I also remember playing the clarinet alongside him and his trombone for his mother. God bless each and every member of his family. Bruce Bourgeois.

We heard from Matt, last night, of Bill's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We are so sorry to not be able to attend the service. We saw the Bill's obituary in the Shreveport Times' web page. His portrait is really nice. The video and the photo gallery too are very nicely assembled. They certainly do bring back memories of some highlights of Bill's life. We will surely miss Bill, especially his gumbo and his smile. Bill has always warmed our hearts during holidays and family gatherings. We know he is truly at home now, and one day we will all be joining him there for more family gatherings. With love from Sacramento, Ken & Kitty

We met Bill with Tim when they came into our store. We instantly liked this man and we all became fast friends. Bill would come by and just hang out with us and visit and he would even do some work while he was here. Silly Man... He was one of a kind and we were blessed to have known him. Much love to the family and our deepest condolences.

I think Bill was the first person I met when we moved to Bossier in 1962 and we've been friends ever since. We raced cars, rode motorcycles, listened to music, and generally got into our parent's hair just a bit more than we should have. But it was a blast doing it, nobody got hurt, and I wouldn't trade all the years we had together for anything in the world! Recently I visited with him in the nursing home and played guitar for him; I think it meant more to me to be able to do that than it did to him. Today he's walking and dancing on two good legs with Jesus and I'll miss him. Bill was a great guy who loved the Lord! Our prayers are now for Joyce and family. David Falkner

I have fond memories of Bill helping at the food pantry and it was such a loss when he became ill and could not be there. He will be missed by all who knew him but most of all his loving wife and family. May God Surround you all with his love and mercy and be waiting at heavens doors to welcome Bill in to have a reunion with all his family and friends that have gone before him.
