Dennis was one of the finest men I've ever known. I saw him twice a week for twenty years and we became the very best of friends. He enjoyed telling me about his sons, his sisters and grandchildren with a pride you could not miss. I always longed to take a bike ride with him on his awesome Harley but I never found the nerve to ask. He often told me about his riding buddies and the places they'd gone and the trials and tribulations of those days his Harley wasn't running up to par. For years he helped supermarkets build up their businesses with his marketing expertise. He enjoyed boating in Washington. The shock of his passing has left a painful spot in my heart.
