Franklin Douglas Fincham, 74, of Lynchburg, entered his Heavenly Home, Monday, December 11, 2017 at his residence.
Born on November 20, 1943 in Culpeper, he was the son of the late Fred R. and Jessie B. Fincham. Frank was a retired dairy farmer and also loved doing landscaping, gardening and watching old western movies. Frank was a kind man, but also set in his ways of growing up in the country.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his late wife, Lucy M. Wagner; son, Franklin Douglas Fincham, Jr.; brother, Howard Fincham; and sister, Shirley Denten.
Frank is survived by his two daughters, Tina M. Hackett (Sherman) of Lynchburg and Rhonda F. Peirano (John) of Evington; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Roger Lee Fincham (Etta) and Charlie Fincham (Rita) both of Culpeper; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel, with Dr. Bob Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends following the service till 4:30 pm.

Well today is the day we say goodbye.I won't say mine cause I know we will meet again.As the tears come they will be happy tears cause I know you're in a better place.Your death was so sudden and I'm still in shock,hopefully it will get easier for me.i know we weren't that close but over time of you moving here we did.Just wish we could of done more together.I hope the service and the arrangements suit you today.Daddy I love you and will miss you! Daddy I'm sad and angry at the same te.If only you would have went to the hospital like we tried to get you to.I miss you and hope to see you soon,You're with momie and Doug now.I hope momies is fussing at you,I know our times together were not long,I hope I was a good daughter I tried my best to do everything I could do for you.I know we weren't close but I do love you.I will miss you I don't have anyone to buy cookies and candy for.You will be deeply missed I love you daddy!
