Was so sad to hear of Sis Powell's passing! The entire Powell family was such a large part of OUR family. In my Dad's last days they were right there for help & support. Sis Powell & family will always be in my heart. In the sadness I had to smile to think of the reunion she & my mother must be having after all these yrs! Love & sympathy to the family!

Sister Powell was a precious, sweet, funny and genuine example of Jesus Christ. You couldn't help but love her and she exemplified what it meant to be a true Christian. May God bring comfort and hold her husband, (and what a beautiful testimony of 71 years of marriage, of their love for each other and love for Christ), family and loved ones close to His heart.

Sis. Powell was always a energetic and super funny personality! As a young person, she never failed to let me know she was watching and praying for me.
Through the years as I became a mother, she was always there after church hugging me and telling me what a good mom I was!! I hold her in my heart as a sweet and cherished memory!! Thank you for all the encouragement...I will never forget you
