Raliegh Theodore Postma, Jr. of Mayfield, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was born December 18, 1935 in Montgomery, AL.
Raliegh was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann; his son, Michael D. Postma; his brother, James H. Postma; his sisters; Nonnie Bell and Edna Walker. Also, preceding him in death were grandsons; Christopher R. Postma and Damion M. Postma.
Raliegh is survived by his children; Raliegh T. Postma III (Deborah) of Virginia, J. R. Postma (Arlette) of Montgomery, AL, Rebecca (Chris) Burgess of Deatsville, AL, Erma (Bob) Clark of Kentucky and Timothy B. Postma of Texas. He is also survived by brothers; Donald Postma (Mareen) of Montgomery, Ronnie Postma of Mobile and sisters; Rosa Campbell of Ramer and Mary Pierce of Idaho, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Raliegh enjoyed doing genealogical research and loved The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a family man and known to be a hard worker. He also served in the United States Marine Corp.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 beginning at 12:00 pm in White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Cemetery, 9504 US Highway 331, Montgomery, Al 36105.
