Delia H Martinez, age 72, of Temple, TX passed away on Tuesday December 12, 2017. Delia was born August 27, 1945 to Leandra Tovar Herrera and Emmitt Herrera.
Delia was an avid Bingo player whose compassionate heart cared deeply for others. Delia's greatest love was for her family, which was evident by her constant desire to be in their presence.
Delia was employed at American Desk, West Side, Webb Drug, and Texas Home Health. Delia was very compassionate with all of her clients and treated them like family.
Delia is survived by her spouse of 60 years, Bernabe P. Martinez; daughters Irene Martinez Chafford; Barbara Martinez; and Sandra Martinez Pratt; sisters Linda Sisneros and Lupe Ramos of Waco, TX and brother Emmitt Herrera Jr., from Lincoln City; grandchildren Frankie Woodard and Delia Perez, great grandchildren Bianca Pleasant, Bryce Pleasant and Zander Woodard.
Delia was preceded in death by her Mother and Father; brother Rudy Herrera and sister Janie Riojas.
A remembrance service for Delia will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 12:00 PM, 1019 E Adams, Temple, Texas 76501.
