EDNA ANNA KRUSE, 96, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Kingston Care Center on Washington Center Road. Born February 15, 1921, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Henry Stahlhut and Emma Hoffmeier Stahlhut. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild at the church.
She is survived by daughter, Debra (Joseph) Rennecker of Fort Wayne; sons, Stanley (Pat) Kruse of Fort Wayne, Steven (Mary) Kruse of Fort Wayne, and David (Lynlee) Kruse of Irvine, California; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Kruse, in 1992; brother, Carl Stahlhut; sisters, Hilda Merkle and Esther Arnett, and great-granddaughter, Ashley.
Edna's service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017, at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 420 West Wayne Street. Burial at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
