Carolina R. Ramirez, 77, of San Angelo passed away on Saturday morning, December 16, 2017 in San Angelo. She was born to Alfonso and Benina Pena Rodriguez on November 11, 1940 in San Angelo, Texas. She married Pedro V. Ramirez on May 21, 1958 in Odessa, Texas. She was a member of Kingdom Life Church. She enjoyed singing, studying the Bible, walking, shopping and eating out with loved ones. She retired after 35 years with Ethicon. Carolina is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Pedro V. Ramirez; sons, Larry Ramirez and wife, Estella, Daniel Ramirez and wife, Emilia, and David Ramirez and wife, Margarita; daughters, Elodia Ramirez and husband, Miguel, Brenda Estrada and husband, Benjamin, Yolanda Ramirez, and Ruth Cazares and husband, Benjamin; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 8 sisters, 1 brother; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to St. Gabriel's Hospice and all of the pastors who visited, prayed and sang for our mom.
Family and friends may stop by the funeral home prior to the visitation service beginning at 9:00 AM Wednesday. The visitation service will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in the Johnson's Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Daniel Ramirez, Jr., Caleb I. Ramirez, Doroteoa Arresola, III, Nehemias Daniel Martinez, Jesus Gutierrez, Brandon Arresola, Ben Cazares, Jr., and Isaac Rios will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories, send condolences, and sign the online guestbook at www.johnsons-funeralhome.com.
