Basilisa Figuracion Watson, 77, of Huntsville passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. Basilisa was born January 9, 1940, in Maloco, Boljo-on, Cebu, Philippines to the late Eustequio and Francisca Cabanlit Figuracion.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 53 years, Robert L. Watson, Jr.; son Robert L. Watson III; daughter, Beverly Mildred Watson; daughter in law, Belly Magbanua Watson; and two grandchildren, Bella Marie Watson and Kiana Michelle Watson.
Other surviving members include her nieces and nephews of the Bequilla family: Jivilyn, Joel, Josephine, Jean, Junas, and Janet. We would like to express a sincere thank you to Josephine Bequilla for the special care she provided to Basilisa.
Basilisa loved her family and enjoyed shopping, crocheting, and playing bingo. She also loved music; in particular, she loved Nat King Cole. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 2:00 pm with interment immediately following in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Please sign her guest registry at www.valhallafunerals.com.
