Virginia M. Tompkins, 69, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her home in Auburn surrounded by her family. She is survived by her Husband of 41 years Rod Tompkins 64, her daughter Michelle, Sons, Rodney Jr., Jacob, Jesse, and 5 grandchildren. Virginia (Gina) a homemaker from South Carolina loved raising her children in Auburn. When anyone speaks of her it is always said how sweet, thoughtful and kind she was to all. She loved her children, her grandchildren, friends, and animals, and her church, and was equally loved by all in return. She loved Auburn and her Community, and was active in the support of children through the schools, and her commitment to support of the community through the company she founded with her Husband, RJT Construction, Inc. She will be loved and remembered forever. Her smile, her kindness, and her love will be missed by all, and most especially her loving family. Though all of our hearts ache with this loss, we all find comfort in knowing she is at peace and with God. In remembrance, love and prayer, we love you Mom, Wife, GiGi, and friend.
Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn, on Wednesday December 27th, 2017. Rosary service will start at 10:30 with Mass to follow at 11:00.
