Lorene Stone Sexton, 89, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Specialty Select Hospital. Mrs. Sexton was born August 18, 1928 to the late Frank and Livie Roberts Stone. A longtime resident of Jackson, she was a business owner, homemaker and a caregiver. She loved her family, flowers, art and enjoyed life. She loved the Lord and was a generous person.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Sexton, Sr. and daughter, Linda Dunlap.
Lorene is survived by two sons; Leroy (Melia) Sexton, Jr. of Gautier, MS.; Jimmy (Tina) Sexton of Ridgeland, MS., one daughter; Bobbie (John) Baker of Destin, Fl.; seven grandchildren; Mike Dunlap,
Steve(Lisa) Dunlap, Sonny (Amber) Sexton, Jet Sexton, Nathaniel (Lauren) Sexton, Kayli Sexton, Harley Sexton and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home, Ridgeland, MS. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
