Lonnie J Parker was born in Hobbs New Mexico, he passed away on Dec 15 2017 in Abilene, Texas. He was a beloved dad, and most of all my best friend! His mother called him punky, his friends called him Parker Joe. Lonnie loved fishing, and horse racing, if you went with him he would tell you to always pick the gray horse! Lonnie was a great and honest hard working man, with a heart the size of Texas. It is indescribable how much we will miss him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Caroyln Parker; mother, Jewel Pennington and his son Bo Parker. Lonnie is survived by his family; Button Parker, Lonnie O Brashear "Orville", Sherry Outlaw,Joe Don Parker, Katy, Kim,12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandkids, and two great great-grand kids. His special friend Rachel Green. My aunt, and Lammeses.

It is with great respect and love that God gave me the opportunity and privilege to have been accepted into your inner circle and family. I have known you for almost 50 years. I learned about life, hardships and it's joys through you "Pop". I, like so many, will miss you, but will never forget you. How could we miss or forget the "Beautiful One". Me, Lonnie O, Sherry and Joe will always affectionately remember you as "Fluffy" the "Flat Top Man", back in the day. We love you and thank Jesus for taking you into his Kingdom for eternity. Amen and Amen.
