Charles Kenneth Hartman, II, 69, of Davenport, previously Waterloo, passed away Sunday December 17, 2017. Per his wishes, there will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Charles was born August 3, 1948 in Pontiac, MI; the beloved son of Charles and Bertha (Boyle) Hartman. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal.
He was formerly married to Judy Seastrom in Waterloo, IA. He later married Maureen Nelson in Davenport, they later divorced. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan even when they lost. He was a lover of the outdoors and hot sauce, but above all he loved his children.
He is survived by his children, son Brandon (Alexis) Hartman Quad Cities and daughter, Sarah Nikole (Dan) Burr, Quad Cities; a brother, Ed (Julie) Hartman, Montezuma, IA, step-father, Tom Harvey of Evansdale, IA. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and great nephews in Michigan and Iowa.
He was preceded in death by sons: Nikolas Andrew Hartman and Charles Kenneth Hartman, III; his parents and several aunts and uncles from Michigan.

Well Brandon that took me long enough to figure out. I'm sorry for your loss . I loved that man Charly. That awesome off the chart sense of humor. I'm very happy my path crossed his.
