Doris Floyd Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 19, 2017.

Doris Wynell Floyd, 89, of Seagoville, TX, passed away peacefully on December, 17, 2017. She was born on May 27, 1928 to William and Ida Mae Pruitt in Dallas, TX.

Doris owned and operated Doris’ Bargain Shop in Ennis until the late 1960’s. She then began a used car business in Pleasant Grove for many years. Doris loved flowers, working with them in her garden, collecting knick-knacks, decorating and cooking. She was known as “Grannymama” to Mandy, Doyle, Landon, Kallie, Tiffany and Liberty. Her greatest pleasure in life was her family and they will miss her dearly.

Preceding her in death are her parents, William and Ida Mae Pruitt; brother Billy Ray Pruitt and sister Violet Laverne Sullivan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Bill Waggoner and wife, Patsy, Janice Reynolds, Larry Waggoner and wife, Van and Cindy Morris and husband, Bill; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her darling honey, Murphy and a host of extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly.
