STATESVILLE- Betty R. Morrow, 82, passed from this earthly kingdom to the church triumphant on December 18, 2017.
Born on May 10, 1935, she was the daughter to the late Fred R. and Katie Poole Morrow. Betty was a member of Troutman Baptist Church where she attended regularly until declining health prevented her attendance.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sister, Mary Sherrill.
She is survived by sister, Kathryn Goodman; nieces Karen (Joe) Conley, and Allison (Jeff) Davis; nephews, Joel (Kris) Sherrill and Barry Goodman and several grand nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Betty's life will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11 am in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Iredell Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
Betty was cared for by Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County and the family extend's their thanks to the nurses, cna's, chaplains and care givers at hospice and to Mary Williams from Personal Touch in Statesville.
In lieu of flowers the family would encourage donations made in Bettys name to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
