I had the pleasure of working with Jeanette when she was Executive Director of the Middle-Peninsula Northern Neck Community Services Board and I worked at Eastern State Hospital in the 1980's. Her guidance of CSB programs and services was outstanding and many benefited from her leadership. I also had the pleasure of working with her husband, Vince Doheny, Western Tidewater Community Services Board, Suffolk, Virginia. Both she and Vince were committed to making programs and services available and at a high level for individuals requiring behavioral health and substance abuse services in their respective communities. They did an outstanding job and received lots of positive recognition at the time. I extend deepest sympathies to the families and was so glad I was able to work with them both at their respective Community Services Boards.

Susan, I read about your mother this morning. She and I had a special relationship, and she was such a pleasure to work with. I leaned on her for her judgement and opinions, and was always grateful for her support. I know that you two were birds of a feather and that you will miss her very much. We have been at Smith Mountain Lake for 2 years now. If you ever get this way, let us know. Evins

Dear Susan,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mother passing away. She was always the sweetest, kindest lady. I am thinking about you. It's not easy and I think I'll always have an empty spot where my Mother use to be. Love you and will see you soon. xoxxoooxox Love, Nancy D.

Susan and Vickie,
You probably do not remember me. My parents and I lived next door to your grandparents in Stuart Gardens.
I lost my mom in April, so maybe our moms are catching up now.
Hugs to you from NC.
