Belia B. Leyva 87 yrs. Our beloved Mother, Sister and Nana entered into eternal rest on December 20,, 2017. Born November 18, 1930 she was loved by all her seven children and over fifty grandchildren very much. She was known to be the best Mother and Nana that the world had based on all her love and strength she provided to her family. Belia was also known as one of the best cooks Phoenix had to offer and if you were blessed to have ever shared a meal in which she had prepared you know what good food is supposed to taste like.
Belia was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Leyva, and her three sons Alfred Leyva, Edward Leyva and Gilbert Leyva. Survivors include her Sister Amelia Montano, Daughters: Sylvia Leyva, Rosie Leyva and Sons: Rudy Leyva, Ruben Leyva and several Grandchildren all of Phoenix. A Funeral Service will be held 9:00am, Saturday December 30, 2017 in the Serenity Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Relatives and friends are welcome to join us at the visitation and gathering which will begin at 9:00am.

Nana Belia you will always be in my heart and my soul and I thank you for everything. There is just not enough words to say how much I truly and dearly Love you with all my heart. You made me strong just like you and your legacy will live on as long as I am alive. Until I see you again I will always have you in my heart and remember what you have said and taught me my whole life. The Lord has received one Mighty Angel into his Kingdom.
