We will certainly miss Carrie at Christian View P/H Church. Due to her declining health, she wasn't able to attend as regularly as she once did but we were always glad to see her when she was able.
Her faithfulness through the years was a testament of her love of the Lord, her church, and her community. We wanted to express our condolences to the family; unfortunately, we both were unable to attend the visitation or funeral due to our own illness. May God bless you with His comfort.

Miss Smith was my 6th grade teacher at Joseph Martin, and having gifts of music she would generously share those gifts at school as well as Wilson Street Pentecostal Holiness Church. We loved it. As a teacher, she taught with compassion and humor as she gently guided her students and loved each one equally. I was honored to have been in her class. Sandi Moore (Asheville, NC)

Aunt Carrie will be missed by all who knew her. Though she had no children of her own, she enriched the lives of so many children throughout her teaching career. In short, she NEVER stopped teaching.
