Jane M. Renz of Toms River passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017. God Granted Jane her wish and she passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband George holding her hand.
Jane grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Daughter of Rita Ledwitch and Edward Haglund and sister to Irene, Ann and Mary.
After High School, Jane became a Sister of the Good Shephard and served God and helped young girls for 12 years.
Jane met and married George Renz. She completed her Graduate Degrees in Education at Fordham University and Long Island University and taught elementary grades in the NY Public Schools.They moved to Toms River and became active members of the church and the carefree community.
Jane always gave her love willingly and generously to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her genuineness and humble strength, her patience, courage and her incredible resiliency. Most of all she will be remembered for her kind heart, her laugh and her winks.
Jane will be missed greatly by her loving husband George, her treasured daughter Margaret Kelly and her husband Chris and 2 very special grandchildren Zachary and Caitlin.
She is also survived by sister's Irene McAndrew, Ann O' Brien and husband Mike. And by sister-in-laws Joan Robitailla, Janet Levy and Barbara Costello. Aunt Jane is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jane was predeceased by her parents, her son George III and sister Mary.

A visitation will be held on Thursday form 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Toms River. Burial will be private.

Our condolences to Uncle George and the rest of the family. We will miss Aunt Jane very much. She had a kind heart, loving spirit, great laugh, and such a strong soul. We love you, Craig, Kristen, Jillian, Connor, and Jake.
