Norma C. Haglund, 78, of Davenport passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 25, 2017. Per her wishes she will be cremated with a private family service. Memorials may be made to Kings Harvest Pet Rescue No Kill Shelter. Online tributes and condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
She was born March 8, 1939 in Davenport to John "Jack" and Emma (Wilkins) Fort. Norma was united in marriage to David Haglund on February 7, 1959 in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1996. She worked for many years at Davenport Bank and Jacobs Welding Supply.
Norma was an avid reader and loved to work in the yard play Sudoku, bake and join in on the neighborhood gossip. Above all she loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Zoey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Sue (Mutt) Thompson, Jeff (Teri) Haglund and Linda (John) Williams, all of Davenport; grandchildren: Ryan (Aly) Haglund, Mallory (Brady) Jager and Nathan William, all of Davenport, Jami (Scott) Hirstein, Blue Grass, Kenny (Jordan) Thompson, Parkview and a great granddaughter, Ady Haglund; her companion, Zoey; sister, Ruth (Dick) Hunt, Davenport and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
