Claude, I will miss you deeply. You were among the final spiritual pioneers of First Baptist Church that I grew up admiring. Your friendship, humor and encouragement will stay in my heart till I see you again. Your legacy is proven in the lives of the family you have left behind.

Claude your light shined bright here; guiding and helping many. Now it shines bright as star twinkling in heaven. You will be missed by many; but you are now with your great love Mildred. The light from the love you have for Mildred, and the love you both had for your family and friends will always warm our hearts.
