Funeral services for Thomas Wayne Evans, Sr., age 75 of Jackson will be conducted on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Love and Truth South Campus with Bro. Bill Luther officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Liberty Cemetery in Morris Chapel, TN.
Mr. Evans passed away on Thursday morning, December 28, 2017 at Jackson General Hospital.
He was born on December 25, 1942 in Milan, TN, the son of the late Samuel Parker and Essie Nance Evans. He was a Truck Driver for Turner Dairy Company and referred to as The Milkman.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother Kendrick Byno Evans.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Grisham Evans of Jackson; 4 Sons Thomas Evans Jr. from Jackson, Jeff Brasher and wife Amy from Saltillo, Greg Brasher and wife Kelly from Adamsville and Clint Brasher from Jackson; 10 Grandchildren Samuel Evans, Brooke Evans, Jill Brasher, Lane Brasher, Jason Peckham, Logan Brasher, Quinten Brasher, Natalie Brasher, Bailey Brasher, and Rylie Brasher; 3 Great grandchildren Eric Lane Brasher, Evelynne Brasher and Reagan Brasher
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel.
