Letha Haddox, aged 106 years of Columbia, MS, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at The Grove Nursing Center. A native of Jefferson County, MS, she was a seamstress with Reliance Company and a member of New Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Ms. Haddox was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Haddox; parents, Jeff and Marandia Robbins Prine; sons-in-law, Bob Morgan, and Horace English; and all of her siblings. She is survived by three daughters, Jewel Morgan of Powder Springs, GA, Mary "Tiny" (Cliff) Rutland of Bassfield, MS, and Moree English of Columbia; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and eighteen great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00am at Colonial Funeral Home where friends may visit with family from 9:00am until service time. Dr. Darrin Webb and Dr. Nathan Barber will officiate at the service. Pallbearers will be Joseph Newell, Matt Doss, Tucker English, Warren English, Ryan English, and Lee Pittman. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
