Roberto P. Oropeza Jr. (65) of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on December 27th, 2017. He was the oldest of all brothers & sisters. He is preceded in death by his father Roberto Pena Oropeza Sr., and his brother David Oropeza.
He is survived by his mother Maria F. Avila, (5) brothers, Gustavo Oropeza, Ernesto Oropeza of Washington D.C., Joe Oropeza (Stephanie) of San Antonio, Texas, Richard Oropeza (Bettye), brother Raymond Herrera (Dyan) of Houston, Texas, (6) sisters Linda Oropeza, Gloria O. Torres (David E.), Anna Oropeza, Frances Oropeza (Rudy Martinez); Lupita O. Alaniz (Jaime), Angie O. Rosales (Robert), many more family members.
Special thanks given to his many caregivers especially Olivia Longoria; his brother-in-laws Jaime Alaniz, David E. Torres; great nephews Gustavo, Jeremiah, and Jacob Oropeza, the staff of Port Home Health along with many others.

Visitations will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday January 4th, 2018; at 5:00 pm followed by the Rosary at 7:00 pm. The address is: 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415; Ph; (361) 265-922
The funeral will be held on Friday January 5th, 2018 at 8:00 am, and will depart from Memory Gardens to Holy Family Catholic Church located at 2509 Nogales Street; for a 10:00 am Mass Service, and back to Memory Garden for burial.
