My Dear Daddy, the hardest I've ever had to do is to miss and bury mama, little Allen and now you. 58 years of memories. Our beach and mountain trip memories will bring me smiles on days in the future that I will miss being with you. Our favorite Cracker Barrel restaurant we ate at when we went to the V.A. will bring me special memories as I continue to volunteer at the V.A. Our visits to Billy Graham Library were so special to us. You made your granddaughter's wedding so special by your presence 2 years ago. Watching you in the rocking chair as Kim come down the aisle at church will be a sight I will hold dear in my heart forever. Your grandson Kevin just like you always never still and busy. Future Thanksgiving and Christmas will have another place missing. The last words I said to you was I love you when we did Christmas this year.I never thought this Christmas would be our last. I pray and I have tried so very hard to honor your final wishes as your only living child. I will love you always daddy.
