Charles Wayne Miller, 74, of Paris, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017, at Dubuis Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Tiny Freelen officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller, the son of Cecil Edward & Marie Kelly Miller, was born July 22, 1943, in Lamar County.
He attended Lamar County schools, mostly in Powderly. His career with B & W spanned twenty-five years, and then he went on to retire from Turner Pipe.
Charles enjoyed going to garage sales where he’d buy and resale.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Cecil Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara Merritt Miller, two sons, Chuck Miller & wife Judy of Gainesville and Nick Miller of Pilot Point, grandchildren, Laci Miller, Matt Miller, Ozzie Miller, Erin Beckett and Emily Bagwill & husband Cody, two brothers, Jerry Miller and Tom Miller & wife Barbara, his beloved companion, Chewy, along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
