Virginia Beach- Shirley Lee Harris Sawyer passed away Dec. 30, 2017 in her home. She was born on Feb. 9, 1932 in Princess Anne County, VA. Shirley was loved and cherished by her family and is survived by her husband, Edward H. Sawyer; daughters, Linda L. Sawyer, Phyllis A. Sawyer, Emma S. Bertok (Frank) and Shirley R. Waynick (Randy); 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Paula Gail Sawyer and her parents, George A. and Mabel P. Harris.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tues. Jan 2, 2018 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd, VA Beach, VA. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Wed., Jan. 3, 2018 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
