A Memorial Gathering for Frank Ross will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018, at 4 p.m., at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Frank Ross went to be with his Maker on December 31, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, George Nixon, some cousins, and his father-in-law, Walter W. Haley. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixteen years, Joy Ross; his children, Brandi Nicole Ross Dershem (Terry Dershem), JD Smith, Donna Jones (Todd Anspaugh); Carolyn Moreno and Ray Smith; his step-sons, James Haley and Joshua Haley; his sister-in-law Maryann Nixon; his granddaughters, a grandson, a great granddaughter, and two god-children, Sara and Wyatt Sweeney-Calhoun. Frank also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frank worked remodeling houses for Harriet Tressul in Monroe, LA for eight years. He then started his own company, Frank's Handy Works, and ran that business for twenty years. In January 2007, he started to work with Ark-La-Tex Shop Builders and continued working with them until the end of his life.
