Hope Renea Bartley Beasley, 46, of Campbells Creek, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017, due to complications from surgery.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Bartley; paternal grandparents, Ruby and Reve Bartley; and maternal grandparents, Frona and John Proctor.
Hope was a 1989 graduate of DuPont High School and was a billing clerk with Quantum with 23 years of service.
Our beloved Hope is now celebrating with her mom in Heaven. She was one of the most giving and caring people you could ever wish to meet. She had a great sense of humor and was a devoted wife, daughter, friend and mother. Hope touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed making memories with friends and family, from Saturday evening movies to annual trips to Pigeon Forge. She was willing to help anyone in need. Hope volunteered annually with the cystic fibrosis walk in honor of her mom.
She is survived by the love of her life of 22 years, Jimmy; the light of her world, her son, Jakob; her father, Roy Bartley whom she adored and loved with all her heart; father-in-law, James (Sherri) Beasley; mother-in-law, Debi Lawrence; brother-in-law, Justin Beasley all of Campbells Creek; future daughter-in-law, Brooklyn Miller; nephew, Nathaniel Beasley; special cousins, Lisa Crowder, Whitney Carrow, Zion Crews, Levi and Ruby Carrow; special friend, Brenda Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Fred Christian officiating. The burial will follow the service at Belcher Cemetery, Campbells Creek.
Family and friends will gather for the visitation on Thursday, January 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
