Florence Romero Eckerman, 86, of Porter, Texas, passed away December 31, 2017. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on October 4, 1931 to the parents Etus Ramero and Eudalie Romero. She had loved reading the chronicle, and playing canasta.
She is survived by her children Debbie (Eddie), Pat (Janet), Eddie (Sue), Thomas (Vicki), Theresa (J.D), Dale (Melissa), Audrianna (Happy), and Benita (Kenneth); 19 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren; brother James (Susan) Romero and sister Laurabel Blackwell.
A visitation will be held at 5-8pm on January 7, 2018 at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Followed by a funeral service at 11am on January 8, 2018 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, Texas, 77365.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Florence Romero Eckerman to St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, Texas 77365, (281) 358-6637.
