Earl Gordon Haney, 91, of Friendswood, formerly of Paris, passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Friendswood.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Dr. David Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Haney, the son of Earl Andrew & Nora Meadows Haney, was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Bonham.
His career with Horn-Williams Ford Motor Company in Dallas spanned a number of years before his retirement. Earl was a member of Ramseur Baptist and enjoyed being a part of an RV Club.
In September of 1956, he married Marie Bowman, building fifty-four years of family and memories before her death on October 3, 2011.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Gramm & husband Billy of Santa Fe, TX, a son, Michael Haney of Deer Park, TX, a sister, Treva Fisher of Point, TX along with several nieces & nephews.
Casket bearers will be: Paul Walker, Jordan Walker, Don Denison, Joe Fisher, Greg Fisher & Jeffrey Bowman.
