Arthur W Shute, age 84, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away on Thursday January 4, 2018. Arthur was born December 31, 1933 in Chicago; Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Pietrzak); Loving father of Glen (Sandra), Warren (Jill), Valerie (James) McNally, Patrick (Wynde), Bradley (Rochelle), and Bryan (Laurie) Shute; Cherished Grandfather of Michael, Michelle, Sarah, Eric, Andrew, Kevin, Samantha, Brenna, Nolan, Kyle, Ryan, Megan, Aimee, Jason, Heather, Brandon, and Joshua; Proud Great-Grandfather of Addison, Ryan, Keelynn, McKenna, Asher, and Alice. Loving companion of Rita Traversone; Dear Brother, Uncle, and Friend to many.

A visitation for Arthur will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 9:00 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois 60181.

A prayer service will occur Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 12:00 PM, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois 60181. An interment will occur Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
