Anthony and Family: So very sorry to hear about Helen's passing. She was a very sweet lady who was so kind to my mom and dad.(Aunt Margaret and Uncle Buddy) Sunday afternoons at Aunt Santina'a and Uncle Steve's house was always so much fun. She always paid a little extra attention to my parents making sure they had their coffee and dessert. Mom especially thought she was so kind. Everyone laughed and loved all the joking and sometimes even a card game..I know, Anthony, you miss her terribly and so does your son and his little family. Please know you all are in our prayers and we know another Angel is waiting for us in heaven.

My condolences to your family. Helen was my father's legal secretary many years ago and I can remember how much he loved and appreciated her dedication, expertise and compassion. I loved visiting my dad in his office on Carondelet with the old self-operating elevator and remember Helen well. I am sorry for your loss.

For as long as I can remember, every time I'd go to my grandparents house Aunt Helen and Uncle Tony would come for morning coffee. We would talk and talk about everything going on in our lives and how great life is. I saw Aunt Helen for the last time on Friday December 29th, out of all the moments I had with her I cherish this one the most. I miss Aunt Helen so much and our thoughts are with you Uncle Tony. I love you both.

Prayers for Anthony and family, as I know Helen will be deeply missed and a great void will be present for a very long time. I was fortunate to work with Helen as a co-worker in the '70's until she retired to raise her son. I stepped into her shoes as legal secretary for Charlie McHale, who recently died in May, 2015 at age 90. He always had great things to say about Helen...superior intellect, common sense, dependable, compassionate...and I totally agree with him. I remember our days working side by side in our little office. She was the best of the best..I learned so much from her...we had so many laughs..to the point of crying. She was a caring, loving person, a great cook, a great wife and mother. I know she will be missed by all that knew her. I am glad I was able to at least talk to her by telephone about a year ago. She sounded just as she did over 30 years ago..and our conversation was one as though we had talked every week for the past 30+ years...The world needs many more like Helen...
Loved her...and I pray that her family will have strength in healing from such a great loss.
