From the chubby, curly haired, freckled little frightened girl who lived next door, I will miss you Dorothy Trendel for the rest of my life. Your heart and arms were open to me from the day we met and I could never forget the strength, passion, kindness and love that you gave me and the example of faith and understanding you demonstrated throughout your life. There isn't another woman like you. I'LL LOVE YOU...ALWAYS...

To the Trendel family,
I am so sorry to hear about Dorothy's passing.
Dorothy was such a wonderful lady and was a very special person to my daughter Brynn, when she babysat her weekly as a young child. I have heard many great stories of times with the Millers and the Trendels. Please know you are all in my family's thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
