Gloria "Pinky" Ann Newlin passed away on Friday, January 5th, 2018. She was proceeded in death by a daughter Kathi and her parents, Loren and Maryann Scheffel.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roy and daughter "Beth" Mary Newlin. Pinky is also survived by her sisters; Lucy (Cecil) Hardee, and Mary (David) Bunch, her in-laws Patsy Cross (Henry Smallwood), Tommy (Donna) Newlin, Barbara (Bill) Hurst, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Pinky worked for Arlington Public Schools for 31 years. She was also a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary AVFD Co. #1.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arlington Animal Welfare League.

So sorry to hear about Gloria's passing. I worked with her off and on for 25 years and came to respect her dedication and love of the children with whom she worked. She will be greatly missed. Prayers for the family for consolation during this difficult time.
