Myrtis Caroline Jentzen Lester, 90, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, December 28, 2017. She was born in Nashville, Tenn., March 6, 1927 to William Henry Jentzen and Mary Carroll Jentzen.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson Lester. She was a resident of King's Grant Retirement

Community and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Martinsville.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Allen F. Weidhaas of Stuart; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Jentzen Lester and Hilary of Germany; two grandchildren, Jonathan Jackson Lester and Simon James Lester and spouse, Esther, of London, UK, and Clinton Allen Weidhaas of Stuart; and a sister, Mary Jane Chester of Big Canoe, Ga.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at noon at Roselawn Burial Park.
