I was sad to hear that Fred passed, but so happy and rejoicing with Katie that he is in Heaven. Fred made a huge impact on my life when I was working at St. Mark Lutheran. He met with me through Thrivent. He prayed with me many times, and I know he and Katie lifted me up on their own time and time again. He was such an encouragement to me as I felt the call into full time ministry. He always asked me for an update, and asked me how he could best pray for me. He was one of my prayer warriors, and I will miss him dearly.

Katie, I just wanted to reflect on the times I met with you and Fred and the comfort and prayers you both offered me during my times of sadness. I have always and will continue to value you both as true ministers of God. You both did and you Katie will continue to be a blessing to all those you meet. God has richly blessed you and your family with His grace and mercy and peace.
