James Sweeney, 80, of Texarkana, TX passed away January 10, 2018 at his home. Mr. Sweeney was born March 13, 1937 in King County, NY. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Marie Sweeney; and his Step-daughter, Jennifer Richardson.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Sweeney; daughters, Ann Bellotti and Linda Hotine; stepdaughter Molly Kidd; stepsons, Bill Keller and Jack Moyer; brother, Thomas Sweeney; sister, Joann Lewis; 18 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown

Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
