Patricia E. “Munga” Epps, 75, of rural Glasford, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 25, 1942 in Peoria, Illinois to Walter and Marie (Geier) Hinrichs. She married Truman “T.J.” Epps Jr. on January 13, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2013 in rural Glasford, Illinois.
She is survived by two children, Angela Epps of Glasford, Illinois and Greg (Julie) Epps of Canton, Illinois; five grandchildren, Stephanie Tiff, Jessica Daniels, Jonathan Billings, Tyler and Morgan Epps; one great granddaughter, Aubrey. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and a phenomenal cook. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
A memorial gathering will be on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. A scripture service will be held at 6:45pm Tuesday at the funeral home by Deacon Louis Tomlianovich. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.
